Mr. Dath was born & raised in Port of Spain, Trinidad, and moved to the US to attend Fresno State University, he graduated first in his class with a 4.0 cumulative GPA in 1989. He then attended U.C. Davis’ King Hall School of Law, ranked at the time in the top 25 in the nation, from which he graduated with his JD in 1992. Mr. Dath then entered the U.C. Davis Graduate School of Management, obtaining his MBA in 1994. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1996, where he is an active member in good standing.

After a short stint in business consulting, Mr. Dath began the formal practice of law in 1996, with a focus on family law and business law. Since then, his experience also includes negotiating high-tech deals for a major Silicon Valley semiconductor manufacturer and managing high-stakes intellectual property litigation. However, nothing competes with the satisfaction he gains from helping people through family law matters as a Divorce Attorney.

Mr. Dath is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. A member of a celebrated family of writers that includes a Nobel Prize winner, he is an avid writer, published author and entrepreneur. As a former National Team soccer player, he enjoys coaching young players, some of whom have gone on to headline in high-school, college, the English Premier League, and the World Cup. Mr. Dath also speaks fluent Spanish and is active in his local community. He is a member of the Odd Fellows Organization devoted to charities and fundraising for those in need.
